Hapton Primary School Playground transformed over the school holidays

Posted by Nick Riley on 7th Jun, 2018 |

Children and teachers returned to school after a 2 week holiday to find their grounds totally resurfaced, a new ball court and an outdoor classroom and benches installed.

Working for Eric Wright FM, we were able to mobilize our teams and advance order with our suppliers in order to achieve the tight deadlines required by our client.

A new tarmac wearing course was machine laid and a steel multi use games area installed with goal ends and basketball hoops. The rebound perimeter fence retains the ball and provides a great kick about area for the children at break-time. The all weather pitch has been marked out with basketball and football markings.

The hexagonal timber outdoor classroom has been fitted with tables and benches and provides an excellent shelter and work station for the children, its amazing how fresh air stimulates the mind!

Some curved timber benches were also added to the play area as part of the scheme along with a new school noticeboard.

Finally, guess why the ball court was painted in a Claret purple shade??

Need we say more, Hapton breeds Burnley fans!

Come on the Clarets !
